I started my career in journalism, where I learned how to find the story that matters, understand what audiences actually care about, and communicate ideas clearly and effectively. That foundation still shapes everything I do today.

More recently, I’ve moved into marketing, bringing those same skills into a more strategic, results-driven space. I’ve worked on content and communications for a medical supplies company, where I applied a journalistic approach to create clear, engaging messaging in a highly regulated and information-heavy industry.​
I’m particularly interested in content creation that is guided by audience insight rather than guesswork. I enjoy analysing trends, understanding behaviour, and using that information to shape content that resonates and performs. Whether it’s written content, campaigns, or brand messaging, I focus on making sure everything has a clear purpose and speaks to the right audience.

My Content
I created blog and social media content for a medical supplies company, focusing on raising awareness around key health topics while supporting product visibility in an informative, non-promotional way.
Drawing on my journalism background, I developed audience-focused content that prioritised clarity and relevance. This included awareness-led campaigns (such as No Smoking Day), educational content on topics like defibrillators, and product-focused social media carousels.




My role covered content creation, research, and aligning all output with brand tone and visual identity. I also used timely campaigns and structured messaging to ensure consistency across platforms.
This work strengthened my ability to translate complex information into accessible content, balance education with commercial goals, and create consistent, insight-led content that supports engagement and brand trust.

I create written content that is both engaging and strategically optimised, ensuring it performs well while remaining clear and accessible to the reader.
My approach combines strong editorial skills with an understanding of SEO best practices. This includes structuring content effectively, using clear headings (H1s, H2s), and naturally incorporating keywords to improve search visibility without compromising readability or tone.
I adapt my writing style depending on the platform, audience, and purpose—whether that’s informative blog content, opinion-led pieces, or more brand-focused messaging. Maintaining a consistent tone of voice while tailoring content to different audiences is a key part of my process.

I have a strong interest in building and maintaining cohesive brand identities, ensuring that all content is visually and stylistically consistent across platforms. I create brand kits that act as a clear framework for content creation, helping to establish a recognisable and professional presence.
My approach includes defining key elements such as colour palettes (including hex codes), typography, and heading structures (e.g. H1s, H2s), as well as setting clear guidelines for tone of voice and visual direction. I also consider photo styles and themes, ensuring imagery aligns with the overall brand aesthetic and messaging.
By creating structured brand guidelines, I make it easier to produce consistent content at scale—whether for blogs, social media, or wider campaigns. This not only strengthens brand recognition but also ensures clarity and cohesion across all touchpoints.

I apply this approach to my own blog, where I have developed a defined visual style, including logo variations, colour schemes, and content formatting. This allows me to maintain consistency while still evolving the brand over time.
