Swings and Painted Roundabouts

Trigger Warning: Sexual Abuse
Whilst Gary with two teeth and Sheila who lives off benefits paint the English flag on roundabouts; we have real issues within society.

Walk down any British high street right now and you’ll see the flags. England flags painted on kerbs, hung off bridges, plastered on zebra crossings. It’s not pride—it’s a warning sign. A big, fat, red-and-white “you’re not welcome here” painted across our communities. And behind these flags? Angry men, shouting about “protecting our women and girls” while worshipping Nigel Farage. Nigel who supports Andrew Tate. So, if you want to talk about protecting women, let’s look at who we are listening to.
Here’s where I come in. My dad is an immigrant. If you met him, you’d never guess he wasn’t born here. He had a well-paying career, paid his taxes, raised a family. He wasn’t “draining resources” or “stealing jobs”—he was contributing, just like millions of others. But according to these protesters, people like him don’t belong.
Or because he is potentially white-passing and can speak the language fluently (due to being here since the age of 10), you have no issue with him? I see you, family friends who would never have an issue with my family, hating on immigration.
Let’s get one thing clear: this is not patriotism. This is racism wrapped in a flag.
The far-right want you to believe there’s an “invasion.” That Britain is being “overrun” by desperate people arriving in dinghies. What they won’t tell you is:
Asylum seekers are not living in luxury. They are stuck in overcrowded hotels with rotten food, no freedom, no dignity. Liberty Investigates found 23 asylum seekers died by suicide in Home Office accommodation between 2020–2024. That’s not comfort—that’s cruelty. They get around £49.18 a week to live on.
Children as young as 14 are arriving here alone, without parents, fleeing wars in places like Sudan. The UK received 3,707 applications from unaccompanied children last year, 41% fewer than the year before. So much for the “floods” we’re told about.
The truth? Protests outside asylum accommodation aren’t about “safety.” They’re about hate.
The Ugly Truth
Here’s the script: asylum seekers are freeloaders. They’re dangerous. They’re here to steal jobs, claim benefits, and attack women.
Every single one of those claims is a lie.
Economics: The Office for Budget Responsibility says the average migrant contributes £341,000 more to public finances than the average Brit. Migrants are literally keeping this country afloat.
Jobs: Without migrants, we wouldn’t have a functioning NHS or social care sector. One in four care workers was born outside the UK. More than 100,000 nurses are from overseas. If they left tomorrow, the NHS would collapse overnight.
Crime: There is no evidence that migrants commit more sexual offences. In fact, police data shows something far uglier: 41% of those arrested during last summer’s far-right riots had already been reported for domestic abuse. The people screaming about “protecting women” are the ones beating their own partners behind closed doors.
Migrants are less likely than UK-born citizens to claim unemployment benefits (22% vs 31%). Most come here to work. The OBR estimates the average migrant contributes £341,000 more to public finances over their lifetime than the average Brit.
Migrants don’t “steal” jobs — they fill the ones Brits won’t do. From farming to hospitality to healthcare, without immigrants industries collapse. Post-Brexit, the UK has faced labour shortages in sectors like farming (fruit left to rot), haulage (HGV driver shortages), and care work (150,000+ vacancies).
Asylum applications make up a tiny fraction of total immigration. In 2024, just 67,337 people applied for asylum, compared to over 1.2 million visas issued for work, study, and family. The UK takes in far fewer asylum seekers than other European countries. Germany, France, and Spain all process more applications.
And let’s not pretend the justice system and police are innocent. The same police who kettle anti-racist protesters, who turn up at dawn to drag migrants out of their beds, are riddled with corruption. From institutional racism to officers themselves being convicted of domestic abuse and sexual offences, the rot runs deep. Yet we’re meant to trust their statistics when they’re weaponised against asylum seekers? Spare me.
I’m sure Fatima came here on her little dinghy just for the free 5-star hotel and iPhone. There’s no way she could’ve been trying to escape conflict, or poverty, or find a better life for herself. I’m sure she’s going straight to sign up for UC.
You wanna talk about patriotism? Try litter picking. Try helping at homeless shelters. Try donating to food banks. Or dare I say it, why aren’t you a nurse or doctor? Or is that strictly reserved for Mohammed and Ahmed.
Nigel Farage: Britain’s Biggest Conman

Nigel Farage has built his career on hate. He wraps himself in the flag while destroying the very communities he pretends to defend.
Farage has spent decades demonising immigrants, Muslims and refugees, while offering no real solutions to Britain’s economic or social crises.
Farage himself is from an immigrant background (his ancestors were Huguenots who fled France). He also married a German woman and employed her as his secretary using EU funds — the very system he campaigned to destroy.
He has openly praised Andrew Tate, a man facing rape and human trafficking charges, despite claiming to care about protecting women and girls.
Normalising fascism: His rhetoric gives cover to street thugs like Tommy Robinson and emboldens far-right violence. When Farage speaks, the mobs listen.
Pushed Brexit as a solution to Britain’s problems. Instead, it has worsened labour shortages, tanked trade, and hit working-class communities the hardest. His claims that immigration suppresses wages have been debunked: migrants actually raise wages for median earners and boost GDP.
Links migrants to sexual offences without evidence, despite police data showing no higher rate of sexual violence among asylum seekers. Meanwhile, 41% of those arrested at far-right riots were reported for domestic abuse — many of them Farage’s supporters.
Cosying up to extremists abroad: He has publicly supported Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin in the past, undermining Britain’s democratic values while courting authoritarian leaders.
Fake “man of the people”: Pretends to represent the working class while rubbing shoulders with bankers and billionaires. He worked in the City as a commodities trader, yet pushes the idea he’s just a “bloke down the pub.”
Despite campaigning for Brexit, he still qualifies for a £73,000-a-year EU pension, paid for by the very institution he claims to despise.
Regularly spreads exaggerated or false statistics about immigration, stirring up fear and division. His words have directly fuelled protests outside asylum accommodation and hate crimes across Britain.
The Ironic Truth about St George
Here’s the kicker: the very flag they wave in people’s faces belongs to a saint who wasn’t even English. St George was a Turkish immigrant. He never set foot in England. His story migrated here. So, when racists drape themselves in the cross of St George, they’re literally worshipping an immigrant. The irony is delicious.
But make no mistake: these flags aren’t about history or culture. They’re being used like warning signs—symbols to intimidate, to mark territory, to scare people out of communities they have every right to belong to.
We need immigration
Immigrants aren’t the problem. The problem is:
Decades of underfunding.
Public services sold off to the highest bidder.
CEOs getting richer while our bills skyrocket.
Politicians pointing fingers at migrants to distract us.
Racism will not solve the housing crisis. Deportations won’t bring back youth clubs. Painting flags on roundabouts won’t stop your wages from stagnating.
The rich and powerful are dividing us—and it’s working.
Let’s have some honesty for once. Britain is not the victim here. Britain is the coloniser.
For centuries, the British Empire marched into other people’s countries, waved the Union Jack, stripped the land bare and called it “civilisation.”
India, Africa, the Caribbean, the Middle East — you name it, Britain plundered it. Stole resources, enslaved people, drew borders in blood, and left chaos behind.
The wealth of this country, the very bricks of Westminster, the jewels in the Crown, were built on colonisation, slavery, and exploitation.
And now? The descendants of those colonised are told they don’t belong here. That they’re “illegal.” That they’re a “threat” to a nation that quite literally stole their ancestors’ labour, land and lives.
The truth is simple: no human being is illegal. You can’t invade half the globe, then pretend your own little island is sacred and untouchable.
If anything, people seeking refuge here today are owed a debt. They are not invaders — they are survivors of wars Britain helped start, of poverty worsened by British foreign policy, of climate collapse caused by the industrial greed of nations like ours.
So, when racists scream “go back home” — maybe they should remember it was Britain that went into everyone else’s home first.

No one is illegal on stolen land.
What happens if the flag that Steve hung above the M25 comes flying down onto someone’s windscreen?
So, the next time you see a flag draped across a bridge, ask yourself: who really benefits from this? Not you. Not your neighbour. Certainly not the immigrants demonised every day. The only people who win are the ones laughing at us from their mansions, as we fight each other instead of fighting them.
Stop trying to bring war amongst a country and falling into the political divide that the rich and powerful are encouraging. Take a step back and look and who really causes the issues you cry about. The government. Not the immigrants trying to find better lives and escape environments that we will never truly understand.
If you really want everyone to migrate back home, why don’t we make Mike from down the road, sod off to Turkey and ask them to fix that hairline and those teeth. Maybe they’ll offer a package deal!
PS: Your Temu English flags are coming from China, by the way…
